Cimeosil ® gels and gel sheeting are silicone-based products designed to improve the appearance of scars, particularly keloids and hypertrophic scars. These are raised, red and sometimes itchy and/or painful scars resulting from surgery or trauma to the skin.
Designed to reduce their thickness and redness, Cimeosil ® is an excellent treatment for scars occurring from accidents, heart surgery, cesarean sections, abdominoplasty and breast reconstruction.
For best results, Cimeosil ® should be applied as soon after healing as possible. However, it may also be used on older scars. Regardless of the scar's age, you should see improvement within 90 days.
